Let your senses feel every part of this experience at Rosanna’s. I don’t know what I loved more, the food or the ambiance of this historic renovation. You might recognize the location as the landmark Italian restaurant of Center Square, Bongiorno’s. Rosanna’s is named as a tribute to Rosanna Bongiorno, the chef/owner of the 40+ year old restaurant with a lasting, local legacy. The renovation was a long journey but residents in the region anxiously awaited the grand opening of another Baggetta and friends gem. (She and her partners previously transformed the Center Square Pub into the hot spot Dove + Deer). Rosanna’s building has been a restaurant for the last 90 years, take note of the meticulously chosen decor to amplify a vintage yet fresh, welcoming vibe.

Rosanna’s menu stays true to Italian fare, with portions and presentation on point. The friendly staff were prompt and shared their menu knowledge with confidence. We opted for patio seating to enjoy a perfect summer night. The safety protocols are transparent, listed on a note card placed on your table. The patio seating is along the street and has beautiful flower and herb boxes, it was beautiful and we enjoyed admiring the neighboring buildings. (Let’s shout out the design details here, even the patio tables have bag hooks!) Last but certainly not least, the food was so fresh and we cleaned our plates without feeling overly full after a three course meal. Perfect for a date night, reunion with friends or just because; Rosanna's is strengthening the heartbeat of the Center Square restaurant scene in Albany. Our menu faves for this visit:
