Free tours of the historic State Education Building are held on Saturdays at 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Each tour can accommodate 25 people and reservations are required. Reservations must be made at: Office of General Services: ​New York Education Building Tour Reservations.

The 45-minute Education Building tours are led by New York State Museum staff and give visitors the opportunity to explore the historic Chancellors Hall, the Regents Room, and the Rotunda adorned with murals by Albany native Will H. Low. The Education Building is located at 89 Washington Avenue, Albany, NY.

In addition to the Education Building tours, the public can also sign up to take Saturday tours of the State Capitol, located across the street from the Education Building. Reservations must be made at: Office of General Services: ​New York State Capitol Tour Reservations.
