Join the Dudley Observatory for Starlab planetarium shows and astronomy activities in celebration of International Planetarium Day! Starlab is an immersive experience where visitors are transported to the night sky to gaze at the stars and learn about the Greek and Roman constellations. Dr. Valerie Rapson of the Dudley Observatory will present a live star show that teaches visitors what constellations are visible in the March night sky. Showtimes are as follows:
12:30pm 1:15pm 2:00pm 2:45pm
While you wait for your show to begin, Dudley Observatory Rising Star Interns will have hands-on activities for families to enjoy including Make a Starwheel, Experiment with Shadows, Explore Infrared Radiation with the James Webb Space Telescope, and more!
COST: $5 per person (adults and children)
Please note:
-Shows start promptly at the times listed above and run approximately 30 min. Each show seats about 30 people.
-Tickets can be purchased in person on a first-come-first-serve basis. Cash, credit or check accepted. All adults and children must purchase a ticket to attend a Starlab show.
-Starlab is intended for ages 4 and up. Adults must accompany their children in the Starlab.
