The “hottest and coolest lounge” in the Adirondacks is back!

The Glacier Ice Bar and Lounge, also known as the Sagamore Ice Bar, brings not one, but two swanky weekends of ice-cold fun to guests and locals alike! The centerpiece is the frozen bar, expertly carved from 18,000 pounds of crystal-clear ice. Guests are welcome to belly up to the bar and enjoy a frosty cocktail. A variety of signature, winter-inspired cocktails will be served.

Last year's theme at the Glacier Ice Bar & Lounge was dogs! Expert ice carvers created dogs from 300-pound blocks of ice, including an ice replica of one lucky contest winner's four-legged friend! In addition, the Sagamore Resort donated all proceeds from their warm mocktail, The Saint Bernard, to Adirondack Save-A-Stray, a local animal shelter. This warm apple cider drinks served with hints of orange and cinnamon was topped with an apple crumble.

And the sculptures don’t end at the ice bar at the Sagamore! Tables and benches, couches, ice luges, and more made of ice form a lounge around the bar, creating an immersive glacial watering hole. Other ice carvings provide perfect photo opportunities for your entire group.

The cocktail menu at this year's Sagamore Ice Bar includes hand-crafted specialties such as the Snowball Martini and Old Man Winter. There will also be New England clam chowder, chicken corn chowder, pot & kettle winter chili, and warm mocktails in The Comfort Zone.

Need some food to compliment those drinks from the ice bar? Head into La Bella Vita for hors-d'oeuvres and authentic Italian specialties. With good vibes and music in the air, you’ll most likely forget all about the cold. If your gloves and boots aren't up to snuff, head for Caldwell’s Lounge inside The Sagamore and take a seat by the blazing fireplace until you warm up. There will be some winter-inspired hors-d'oeuvres on the ice bar menu.
