The Capital Region Heart Ball brings together prominent scientists, medical professionals and community business leaders for a festive evening to raise awareness and funds to combat the effects of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.
This year, Dr. Eric Spooner, a retired pediatric cardiologist, will receive the Donald Led Duke Heart Hero Award. We will honor our littlest survivors, the Cardiac Kids, and hear their inspirational stories. There will be a heart-healthy dinner, experiential auction, Cardiac Kids gallery, Open Your Heart appeal and an opportunity to attend our exclusive after-party.
The American Heart Association is committed to supporting biomedical research and currently funds over $2 million locally while also allocating resources to combat childhood obesity, improve employee health, spread awareness of heart disease and stroke, improve quality of care in our hospitals and so much more.
Please join us for this celebration and help the American Heart Association continue its work! Visit CapitalRegionNYHeartBall.heart.org for information!
